For their annual interdisciplinary workshop, the European Academy for Standardization (EURAS) solicits papers on all aspects of standards and standardisation. Sample topics include, but are not limited to:
- Research and standardisation
- Standards and technology transfer
- Standardisation and economic development
- Economics of standardisation
- Standardisation policies
- Management of standards
- Different sciences' perspectives on standardisation
- Legal and regulatory issues in standardisation
- Standards setting and implementation processes
- Environmental standards
- History and future of standards
- Education on standardisation
Full papers (up to 20 double-spaced pages; pdf, rtf, or MS-Word format) should be submitted, preferably by e-mail, to:

Authors of accepted papers are expected to serve as discussants upon request. All papers will be reviewed (double blind) by members of the Programme Committee. Particularly good and relevant papers will be fast-tracked to the review process of either the EURAS-Yearbook or the Int. Journal of IT Standards and Standardization Research (JITSR).

Workshop Venue
The conference will be held at the facilities of the University of Skövde, Sweden. The University of Skövde is situated in the centre of Skövde. The campus area forms a nice unity and has kept its old-time charm. University of Skövde, established 1977, has grown rapidly during the recent years. Today we offer a range of traditional, but also unique educational programs within a number of different areas.
Skövde is situated between Sweden's two largest lakes, Vänern and Vättern. You have easy access to Skövde from many cities in Sweden . By high-speed train, it takes approximately one hour from Gothenburg and two hours from Stockholm . The travel centre, within walking distance from the University, gives access to both the high-speed train X2000, Inter-City trains, and buses. The city centre is also within walking distance from the university.

How to get to Skövde
Arriving by air to Gothenburg
If you arrive by air to Landvetter airport, take the airport bus shuttle to the Nils Eriksson terminal (end station and in Gothenburg city).
If you arrive by Ryanair or Airberlin to Gothenburg City airport, take the corresponding shuttle to the Nils Eriksson terminal.
The Nils Eriksson terminal is in the adjacent building to the main train station. From there, take the train to Skövde. By fast train (called X2000) it takes about 1 hour. By regular train it takes about 1,5 hours. Please consult the train schedule on the SJ web site, or contact the conference organisers with more precise requests of times and dates.
Arriving by air to Stockholm
If you arrive at Arlanda airport, take the train shuttle (available from the airport) to Stockholm central station.
From Stockholm central station, take the train to Skövde. Please consult the train schedule on the SJ web site, or contact the conference organisers with more precise requests of times and dates.
