The EC Standardisation Researchers' Network is part of the AAstaRT initiative (Academics Active in Standardisation-related Research and Teaching). The aim is to create transparency in field of standardisation research. It provides an opportunity to present areas of research and education. The EC Standardisation Researchers Network is initiated by the European Commission.

The European Commission may use the network to contact standardisation researchers for support in policy development in the area of standardisation.
